My resource tree has disappeared. I have tried multiple browsers, tried updating the files to the latest version of modx. The tree is gone, any the menu items are not working...can't clear cache, get into settings, etc......any ideas would be greatly appreciated....site seems to still be working, but I can not get to any resources or make any changes to anything....

Hitting f12 in chrome....i see this:
Uncaught TypeError: b[(d.xtype || e)] is not a function
Uncaught ReferenceError: GAL is not defined
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'getTopToolbar' of undefined
Uncaught TypeError: b[(d.xtype || e)] is not a function
Uncaught TypeError: MODx.SearchBar is not a function

Can you log in to your FTP and clear the core cache?
Everything I know I learned on the internet. Saved me thousands in College tuition,

Deleting all files in the core/cache directory as Crecorn suggests, and clearing your browser cache and cookies are the first things to try.
Another good thing to try is going in to the database in PhpMyAdmin, and in the modx_system_settings table, change the compress_css and compress_js setting values from 1 to 0.
