That's a tough one. As much as we hate these things, a page scraper may be your solution. However, don't forget that images can also be used as backgrounds in the CSS and so won't show up in a page's source. You would need to search the site's CSS and JS files for those.

It's difficult because an image tag could be in a template, resource content, in a text TV, in the options of a list TV, generated by an image TV, plugin, or snippet or (as Susan suggests) in a CSS of JS file.
On possibility is to remove the image files and run a utility that checks for broken links. Google Webmaster tools, might report them for you -- I'm not sure.

Unless the .htaccess file is configured to not rewrite image and other file requests, your LogPageNotFound utility will report any images requested that weren't found. It's very useful to me for just that purpose.
LOL. I've never thought of using it for that. You'd need a utility that would crawl the whole site, but there are plenty of them out there.

This morning I found numerous attempts to access WP with nasty long query string values, and amid that an attempt from the same IP address to reach /assets/modules/evogallery/js/uploadify/uploadify.php. So I'd say that's a script-kiddie, and Evo users should beware.
