    Hello!
First I would like to apologize if this subject was already discussed in another topic but I couldn’t find it.

I’m developing a website (cars collections) in which I want to include some galleries with pictures. I was pleased with maxigallery but now I realized that this doesn’t fit in everything that I need.
I want to include a gallery of products divided by categories (war cars, convertible, etc) and assign to each category a set of products (which I want to see in detail after a click on the correspondent image) with its description such like price, weight, dimensions, etc.
So, what I would like is something like maxigallery but each picture has some text fields associated.

My second doubt is related with the creation of this products. As far as I know these products are normally created one by one. Does anyone know a way to populate a gallery with a set of products and its characteristics in a automated way?

    Thanks,
    Fanan

I have build galleries where each document represented an image so I could manage them directly within MODx and use snippets like Ditto and Wayfinder to output the data. If this is acceptable will be determined by the number of images.

I don’t think that solution will be acceptable in my website since in the future there will be so many images.

        Thks,

I think it was in the forum in the maxigallery-section a new version of maxigallery with custom-fields-support. So its easy to have fields for your need and you can easy categorise and filter the images you need.
