Well, I've spent untold weeks on this issue now- trying to get past the Confirm Register blank page error using both Register and Subscribe, to no avail. Does anyone know of any other ways I can get a user to register themselves, receive an email to click on, and then get their account activated? Any other snippets or some other method?
BTW this is the error in the error_log file:

Update: have edited a line in this file as per a different post (on a slightly different subject), may be getting somewhere, we shall see.

the _setRaw() issue was introduced in a version of MODX, then fixed in the next one. I don't remember the version numbers but upgrading might help. Try the UpdgradeMODX extra.
