Answered Show related resources based on "resource list" tv selection

Ok, I've finally managed to get it work! It turns out I should be using tvFilters and not tvFilter. This change made it pull in the correct resources but the TV images weren't showing. Removing &includeTVList=`related_studio` made the images come back

Out of curiosity, why was &includeTVList=`related_studio` breaking the images?

because you need to add all TVs to the includeTVList, if you use that property.
Its faster, when you call only TVs, which you need.

Without includeTVList getResources will fetch all TVs
This can get slow with many TVs

BTW @johnosmith, welcome to MODX! As frustrating as this has been, the ride should be a lot smoother from now on. You'll find that a lot of times, a syntax error is responsible for a great deal of pain. You'll blame MODX at first, but you'll eventually fall in love with it.

These two gentlemen are just community members like you and I (albeit incredibly gifted).

I'm glad you got it sorted.

I should mention that if it gets too slow, you'll want to consider using a custom table instead of TVs or at least switching to pdoResources.

Another tip: I know it's counter-intuitive, but it will actually be faster if none of the TVs have a default value (though maybe less convenient for users).
