Hi,
I've installed the latest tinyMCE version (1.1.0-pl), the one in the package installer with "Rich Text Editor" within the title but i'm getting the following error:
CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION cannot be activated when safe_mode is enabled or an open_basedir is set
The old TinyMCE works without this error.
Safe mode isn't enabled but the open_basedir is set which has been set for security reasons as it's shared hosting. Any ideas of a work around other than stick with the old tinyMCE version.
Also seems the same issue for CKEditor

The Extras you mentioned, in my recollection, use an outdated version TinyMCE.

@donshakespeare ah ok, never actually looked at tinymcewrapper always just ignored due to the wrapper part. But installed and this is actually working. Although think this is just by passing the issue as other extras I suspect will have the same issue, i've already had that with advSearch which i've replaced with simplesearch and solve that problem.
But thanks as does mean the site is functionally again also do you know if it's possible to not have descritpion and summary use it.

Don't do that
...anywhere you see 'wrapper' click it, because the good stuff is wrapped inside
You can turn on/off anything you like.
In Element tree -> Plugins -> TinymceWrapper -> Properties Tab ...Textareas to transform.
