Answered Resource 'searchable' setting

    Hi there,

    I'd just like to confirm that the 'Searchable' setting on a resource is only for on site search functionality and will have no effect on search engines. Is that correct?

      That is correct. It is only there for extras such as SimpleSearch that check its value.

          yes and no, if you use the GoogleSitemap extra to generate an XML sitemap that you then submit in Google Developer Tools (or Google finds it by itself via robots.txt) then that setting does have an effect, as extras like these also rely on this "searchable" value...
