You would probably use User Groups or User Settings, not Resource Groups, to direct the users on Login.
On the pages themselves, you could protect them with a snippet like this:
On the staff page:
if (! $modx->user->isMember('Staff')) {
$docId = 12; // (ID of a page to send them to)
$url = $modx->makeUrl($docId, "", "", "full");
$modx->sendRedirect($url);
}
On the Board page:
if (! $modx->user->isMember('Board')) {
$docId = 12; // (ID of a page to send them to)
$url = $modx->makeUrl($docId, "", "", "full");
$modx->sendRedirect($url);
}
