Calendar - the best one

What calendar system do you guys use? There’s a bunch available and dont really want to setup everyone to test it. What do you like?

Chuck

I have the same question. I tested DittoCal but it kept giving database errors so I moved on to Kalander and it worked but I need to look into its output options and the styling/javascript is a bit buggy.

EasyEvents is the best option but since it is independent of the document structure it works only for adding events within easyEvents (I could be wrong, but this was my impression).

I need to look further into these since a current project requires a calendar output of document based events.

Hey

I’ve also tried manys. But the best I’ve found was Calx. The thing was I had to adapt some parts of the code to get it work as I wanted. Sometimes it’s a bit buggy, but almost works quite well. But you have to put all your events in a "folder/parent document" to allow Calx to retrieve your events.

Here you can find a demo of my adapted test version of Calx : http://www.aslasonnaz.ch/foot/index.php?id=17&jour=1&mois=12&annee=2007
(I just realise that the code has to be cleaned up.....)

[Edit] Now I can remember I ve faced a big prob with that Calx : it only works with the published/unpublished settings.... and that was quite messy.....

Cheers!
Alex

This (http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,26825.msg169419.html#msg169419) seems to be a great system. I want to try it out, but I haven’t got the time yet.

Thanks,

I’ll checkout EasyCal and Calx. Xette didnt look like it was ready yet.
