phpthumb not working on PHP 5.5+

Hi all!!!
It has been a while since last time I was on forum... :/


I have a problem with phpthumb snippet

My server upgraded from version 5.3 to 5.5+ (currently in info view I see PHP Version 5.5.30) and my phpthumb snippet stoped working resulting to not show any images

Can anybody help?

Using:
PHP Version 5.5.30
phpThumb 0.3.3-pl as found on: http://modx.com/extras/package/phpthumbpackage0.3.2
MODx Evo 1.0.15

UPDATE:

I replaced entire folder in "/assets/snippets/phpthumb" with the new files from https://github.com/JamesHeinrich/phpThumb/archive/master.zip

Doesn't work.

Any entries in the MODX System log?

Where can I see those?

In Reports -> System Events you see all errors that MODX Evolution could log.

The phpThumb class has issues with static functions as you could see on http://www.otkup.hr/image.php?src=assets/images/antikviteti/IMG_0537.JPG&h=318&w=450&zc=1&hash=ee4b6acb136fb0e081c311e87d585488

But this is caused by image.php and not by the phpThumb class itself. The image.php does not belong to the phpthumb core package in Evolution 1.0.15. The phpthumb core snippet will create a full path to the thumbnail image in assets/cache/whatever on your server.

You will have to change your PHx based phpthumb calls to direct phpthumb snippet calls i.e. from [+image:phpthumb=`w=150,h=76,far=C,bg=FFFFFF`+]
to [[phpthumb? &input=`[+image+]` &options=`w=150,h=76,far=C,bg=FFFFFF`]] to solve that issue.
