    Hi,

I could not install any extra on my "MODX Revolution 2.4.2-pl" CMS. It is operated by PHP 5.6.13.

Actually, after investigating, when I press the button "Install", I got a javascript error :

TypeError: this.mask.addClass is not a function

and going further, I have this error :

    Loading error URL : http://mysite/manager/min/index.php?f=/manager/assets/modext/widgets/core/modx.tabs.js,/manager/assets/modext/widgets/core/modx.window.js,/manager/assets/modext/widgets/core/modx.combo.js,/manager/assets/modext/widgets/core/modx.grid.js,/manager/assets/modext/widgets/core/modx.console.js,/manager/assets/modext/widgets/core/modx.portal.js,/manager/assets/modext/widgets/windows.js,/manager/assets/fileapi/FileAPI.js,/manager/assets/modext/util/multiuploaddialog.js,/manager/assets/modext/widgets/core/tree/modx.tree.js

I don't know what the problem is... Any help could be great to have, thanks ! smiley

I have checked that topic : https://forums.modx.com/thread/?thread=94937&page=1 and I found nothing applicable my php version... but I am no expert too smiley

Try turning off compress_js and compress_css in the System Settings.

        Thanks for your reply sottwell

I have changed both compress_js & compress_css to "no", in the system settings. Yet and sadly, I still get the same javascript mistake and the installation does not happen.

Are you sure that your user (actually the group your user belongs to) has permissions to install packages? Is your user in the Administrator group? Is your user a Sudo user?

I sounds like a problem with your installation. I would re-install MODX, after first doing a backup. The best way to do this is to use the install.php script here https://github.com/sottwell/installer

I would suggest installing BobRay's UpgradeMODX, but since your installer is broken, that won't work

Check error log, see if there is some error related to packages
