[PARTIALLY SOLVED] Problem when installing MODx in a USB key (within EasyPHP)

Hello!

Everything runs well, until I pass "Pre-install validation. Setup has carried out a number of checks to see if everything’s ready to start the setup". Everything is OK, says the installer.

OK. And then, I push "Install" button.

When the next screen appears, it seems to be "incomplete", like this:

Install results

Setup will now attempt to setup the database:

Creating connection to the database: OK!

Selecting database `modx_estadis`: OK!

Checking table prefix `modx_`: OK!

Creating database tables:

That’s all. There the message is finished.

Why?

Is there any log of the installation where I can find out what’s happening there?

I am working within my USB device, which has enough "GB" left.

I managed to perform a portable installation of EasyPHP, which I used to use before in my PC and I never had such a problem installing MODx.

It is strange, isn’t it?

Any hint? Help, please.

Well, I tried an alternative way to do it:

I copied all the EasyPHP directory from my USB devide to my PC, and then restarted installation procedure, and it worked!

Then I copied all the files again to the USB Key, and everything goes OK.

So, there must be a problem when using the USB storage device as the "host" of the installation?? I don’t know...
