modx-manager: direct link to media-browser folder/subfolder or even file possible?

Hi,

I´m new here and I hope someone can help me - I can´t find an answwer yet.

Is it possible to hava a direct link in the manger to open the media-browser and select a folder or even select a folder/subfolder and a file?

eg:
/manager/?a=media/browser &dir=folder/subfolter &selectedfile=test.jpg

I try to include a "search for files" in the "uberbar-search-field", but for the file to open I need to be able to link directly to the media browser.
(If there is another/better solution for this, I´d like to know)

thanks!
marc

Unfortunately that is not possible. Too much AJAX involved.

thanks for the fast reply! - even if there is no _easy_ solution

If you perform the action in the manager and it has a unique URL, you can create a menu item that does it, but I'm sure Susan is right with respect to browsing to an individual file.
