Answered Image gallery with MIGX (multifile uploader tutorial)

I've been following the tutorial on how to upload multiple files using the tutorial here:

Everything seems to be working ok but the ability to delete an item. Right clicking and selecting remove (then saving the resource) doesn't seem to have any effect. When I click Load from mediasource the images come back.

I noticed that the tutorial says "Old Version" but I saw that it was edited earlier this year...

Any ideas why it might not be working?

I'm using Modx 2.4.2.
