Answered ModxTalks for Custom DB Content

Maybe someone can steer me in the right direction to integrate ModxTalks with my custom resource content. I have some custom resources I am retrieving from the DB and listing via custom snippets. I tried to read the docs on http://modxtalks.artdevue.com/en/help.html#setting_resource at th bottom about including the counter for getresources but it doesn't make much sense to me. Also I want a separate thread for each of my custom resources but there's no explanation on how to do that.

Has anyone tackled this? It's a cool addon but it looks like it can only be used with classic document resource types or am I missing something?

Update. I figured this out. Took a while to understand the docs and I went through the code to figure out what was happening. I had to make some modifications to the CMP processor and conversations grid renderer so it could handle query string urls in the CMP. Also had to modify the counter to render a zero if the conversation hasn't been created yet.
