I am fairly new to Modx and I am struggling to get my gallery to display correctly (using the Gallery extra). I'm just getting so confused!
Here's what I want
I need to display all the
gallery album thumbnails on my gallery page. Then when one of the gallery album thumbnails are clicked it should take the user to that gallery album page.
That gallery album page must show all the images thumbnails for the that specific album only.
I hope that makes sense.
So this is what I have got so far in my GalleryTemplate:

&rowTpl`galAlbumRowTpl`
&thumbWidth =`300`
&thumbHeight=`300`

This displays the album thumbnails and clicking on the thumbail takes you to something like "?galAlbum=2" but then the album thumbnails are just repeated.
