Articles plug-in not showing in manager. It shows in the tree and the articles are live and appearing on the site but when I want to add a new article the resource is blank. All other resources show.
I don't believe there were any changes prior to this happening. I did install collections, but I'm not sure when it occurred.
I have cleared cache, uninstalled & reinstalled, and I upgraded modx to the newest version. Any other ideas would be great.
Everything I know I learned on the internet. Saved me thousands in College tuition,
Do you have the current version of Articles? At least one earlier version would hide the articles unless you created them from the Manage Articles grid.

There's another cause of what you're seeing, but I can never remember what it is.
Yes, it's the latest version. It seems to be a problem with quip. When I installed articles again my manager was all screwed up and I have an error that says
"Undefined index: debugUser in /home/scs/public_html/core/components/quip/model/quip/quip.class.php on line 132"
If I manually remove quip the manager comes back, but articles is blank. And when I say blank I mean there is nothing there all tabs, forms and buttons are gone.

I removed this from quip.class.php and it's working. I think something is screwed up in my permissions. Is there a way to reset permissions to default settings?
if ($this->modx->getOption('debug',$this->config,false)) {
error_reporting(E_ALL); ini_set('display_errors',true);
$this->modx->setLogTarget('HTML');
$this->modx->setLogLevel(modX::LOG_LEVEL_ERROR);
$debugUser = $this->config['debugUser'] == '' ? $this->modx->user->get('username') : 'anonymous';
$user = $this->modx->getObject('modUser',array('username' => $debugUser));
if ($user == null) {
$this->modx->user->set('id',$this->modx->getOption('debugUserId',$this->config,1));
$this->modx->user->set('username',$debugUser);
} else {
$this->modx->user = $user;
}
}

Sadly, no. Check the debug System Setting. It should be blank. And make sure the Articles and Quip debug property is also empty.
If you've messed with the PHP error_reporting setting anywhere else (e.g., php.ini or .htaccess), that could also be an issue.
