That does use Jot, must be that your database tables have a prefix " x x x_mdx01".

yea they do have prefixs. That happens when you have an installer like Fantastico or simple scripts.
I used simple scripts to install this.
So I tried adding prefix to the code you posted
as well as taking off that first modx_ you had on there incase the modx was seeing it as a prefix
    none of that worked...

So i bit the bullet and went into phpadmin :

1.I found the name of the database and Clicked its name
2.Then looked down the list on the left until i found "jot_content" and clicked it
3.This opened up structure on the right panel
So then i looked for "content"
Put a check mark in its box
4.Then went to the top where it said "Empty" and clicked
Then confirmed when it asked me too and boom... all gone.

I have not had to go into there in a few years since i tried working with Nukephp
so i was afraid of messing something up, i should have just done that first
Emptying that table by hand did the trick - it deleted all of the comments from all of the newspages
so now i am taking off the comment tags from all of the pages until i get the newer jot working
It has more features to fight spam.. which is so cool

Hopefully in later versions they can come up with a checkbox system to mass delete all showing posts at once
while being able to skip over the ones you want to keep, until you have all of them out. I am sure that some need to mass delete from time to time even if its not the dreaded spam

    anywhoo.. -smiles-
Thank you Thank you so much
I hope you have a wonderful day!

When you select a table, and select the "Empty" from the top menu, this runs a query "TRUNCATE <tablename>". This deletes everything in the table, and resets the auto-increment to 1. So checking the "content" field served no purpose.
