Is there a current video series that covers users and permissions?

I'm really new to MODX and I've got a few simple websites built. I learn best by watching videos and hearing/watching someone go over a concept, but I haven't been able to find a video series that covers users.

I'd like to be able to build a community site where people can register, login, message each other and access different resources depending on their group membership. I'd like to have moderators who can delete/edit posts, and registered users who can post in certain areas.

(Optionally, I'm in Portland, OR if there are any gurus here that I can sit down for an hour or so with.)

I created a git repo that has divided the permissions up to be a bit more clear: https://github.com/jgulledge19/MODX-ACL-Exports/tree/master/access-policies. Once you have a basic understanding of how to assign permissions, you might find them helpful to use these.
