Writing to the cache file

Hi all,

I opened a thread in the Windows section, but I haven’t got any replys. (http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,27925.0.html)
I was wondering hopw to make the cache file writable on Windows. I get the follwoing errors when doing anyting in Manager:

Warning: fopen(../assets/cache/siteCache.idx.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in C:\WVH\Domains\earlpaddock.com\ROOT\Inetpub\wwwroot\manager\processors\cache_sync.class.processor.php on line 215
Cannot open file (../assets/cache/siteCache.idx.php)PHP Warning: fopen(../assets/cache/siteCache.idx.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in C:\WVH\Domains\earlpaddock.com\ROOT\Inetpub\wwwroot\manager\processors\cache_sync.class.processor.php on line 215

Using:
Microsoft-IIS/6.0
PHP Version 4.4.6
MySql: 3.23.49

Glenn

delete the files and create a php file that creates the file
execute the file

The files will be created by the system using your php file so there should be no problems

Thanks xpix,

I tried it, but unfortunately it didn’t work.

Glenn

send the php file.
