Starting now: 0.9.6 or Revolution?

hi,

after reading tons of reviews and trying some demos, I finally decided to use ModX as cms for a small site.
I wanted to install it today, but now I’m not sure what version to use: the ’old’ but stable one, or the new, rewritten, Revolution version, even though in alpha stage.

For a small site with not a lot of features planned except maybe a gallery - would you suggest to use 0.9.6. and migrate later, or start right away with Revolution (so I don’t have to learn 2 systems) ?

thanks

Unless you have some complex requirements that really need features exclusive to Revolution, go ahead and start in 0.9.6. All of the skills and work you do can be leveraged if/when you decide to move to Revolution once it’s stable.
