I've got an Evo 1.1.15 site where the manager login is redirecting us back to the login page rather than the manager.
This is a site that I recently reconstructed on a new Bluehost server after the other hosted server got hacked. I put up a new Modx install, transferred the assets and imported the DB. While I was rebuilding the site, I logged in and out over the course of several days, no problem. Now suddenly, this is happening.
I don't think it's a ID/PW problem, because I can see in the DB we're logged in, we're not being blocked and there are no "incorrect pw" messages displayed, unless I enter one that I know is invalid.
It's happening to all users on all browsers. Clearing the browser cache & cookies has no effect.
I don't see anything in the server error log for today. Although yesterday there were a bunch of "unable to connect to DB" errors. I checked the DB for errors via phpMyadmin, all good.
Since this had been working or a while, and few updates to the site, I decided to just restore the entire cpanel to a backup from about 10 days ago.
This was good for a short while. But, now a couple of hours later, it's misbehaving again.
I would venture a guess that this is some sort of session problem, but have no clue how to approach this.
My client has been patient up to this point, but this needs to get fixed.
Any ideas?
