    Hello everyone,

First thing first: It’s been awhile since doing anything major to my website so please treat me like a somewhat new guy, that and I’m not so good with this stuff.

1.) My host is complaining about the CMS creating too many tmp files and not deleting them? This is the responds I got from them:

/tmp files being created from your application that were not removed. This was causing problems with the servers /tmp directory filling up and other applications that require the /tmp directory could not write to it

    Anyone help on this issue?

2.) When attempting to log into my manager all of a sudden I don’t see the security code picture so I can’t get into the manager right to be able to even attempt to look at the settings for the above problem. Help on getting me back in?

Thanks to all for taking the time to read this and help.

The only files you’d be creating in /tmp would be session files. And those should get cleaned out regularly by the PHP installation; MODx has nothing to do with that.

Ask him for a sample list of some of the filenames.
