This awfull modX has a behavior I didn’t suceed to solve.
There may be a similar problem obviously solved in AS 1702 in french (Javascript variables initialisation appears twice in the html code source) http://modxcms.com/AjaxSearch-1.7-1801.html.

I found a second block of script call (and search header) appearing in the html header of the html page.

This problem actually appears with ajaxSearch and also with webloginpe in my installation of modX.

I tried a lot last time, but run out of ideas now to get it clean.

So any hint is appeciated. Please help.
[ as1.8.0, webloginpe131 (both and single), standard calls, mootols 1.11, &addJscript=`0`, modx0.96, any browser (I’ve a couple of installations of modx running very well) ]

    post rthrash:
Just to clarify, the problem is with AjaxSearch 1.7.x registering the Mootools twice in your header of your documents, correct?
If upgrading to 1.8 doesn’t solve the problem, simply turn off registration via the appropriate parameter and add the JS manually to the templates where the search component is used.
    (Moving to the appropriate topic...)

    Hello rthrash,
thanks for answering to this issue.
It is not the mootools.js that is launched twice (see post above).
The ajaxsearch.js and the ajaxsearch header (the text with the parameters) appears twice.
With webloginpe I’ve the same: ieButtonFix.js commes twice after first input (it runs if commenting the line out in the snippet line: "// $modx->regClientStartupScript (’assets/snippets/webloginpe/js/ieButtonFix.js’);" and set the call manually in the templ. html).
(This is the reason why I placed this post at the former location)
