  • The MODX Collections documentation has a list of editors as:

    As an editor can be used any valid xtype (string) or JSON object.
    Examples:

    textfield
    textarea
    modx-combo-boolean
    numberfield
    {“type”:”number field”,”allowDecimals”:false,”allowNegative”:false}

    Are there any further editors available in Collections? Particularly I am hoping for a datepicker editor.
    • What are these xtypes used for in Collections?

            Try "datefield" as editor. It works beautifully!
