That's a pretty clear sign of a javascript error while generating the page. If it's on a new site, it might be related to one of the extras you've installed, and/or compress_js.
To track down what the cause is, you'll need to go into the console tab of the browser developer tools and look closely at the errors - primarily the first one. What file is it triggered from, and if you look at the call stack, what files and methods does it refer to?
