I'm using MODX 2.3.5 with plugin Discuss 1.2-pl.
I have defined one resource "Forum" which includes the snippet [[!Discuss]]. In Extras / Discuss I have defined 4 different catagories, e.g. "Product A", "Product B", "Product C","Product D", each with some boards.
In general this solution works fine, but what I want to do is the following:
In my MODX pages, the user selects at the beginning one of the 4 products and can view in the following only information about this product. One option in the page flow is to go to the forum page, which contains the code: [[!Discuss]].
But this will show the forum page with all 4 defined product categories. Selecting the right category the user can go to the forum of his product.
What I want to do is to forward to the correct category of the selected product.
How can I do this by parameters of the snippet "Discuss" ?
If the user selects from the "forum" resource the product specific catagory, the URL looks as follows:
http://modxserver/modxroot/forums/?category=4
But how can I go directly to this resource using the snippet?
