Anyone know how to create custom dashboard links in Revo 2.4? The old method:
/manager/?a=resource/create&parent=2&template=4
doesn't work any more. The old way creates a new doc with the correct template, but it won't assign it to the correct folder. I'm having troubles figuring it out.

I don't know the answer but thought I'd mention that NewsPublisher lets you set the parent and template for new documents.

Yes, that's very interesting. The parent resource field isn't filled until the child resource is saved.

However, upon testing, a link like
http://localhost/revo240/manager/?a=resource/create&class_key=modDocument&parent=2&context_key=web
will in fact create a new resource as a child of resource #2

Actually your link works too. It doesn't show on first form load, but it does show after the new resource is saved.

You guys are correct. It isn't showing the folder linked until the resource is saved. This sort of link still works:
/manager/?a=resource/create&parent=10&template=7
