    Hi,

    I am experiencing a really weird error on my website. I have a seperate folder where I handle all my links etc and I have this password protected using ,htacees and a seperate .htpasswd file. This works fine on all my sites and used to work on this one too but I have recently migrated my site to a new host and all of a sudden when I try to go to this password protected folder I get a 404 page not found error. I have spoken to my hosting provider but they are clueless and started removing all my rewrite rules in the master .htaccess file which was a bit scary!!

    If anyone has any ideas on how to solve this then I would be very grateful as it’s becoming quite annoying.

    BTW the folder I am trying to access is for example www.high-rollpoker.com/admin_folder

    My master .htaccess file looks like this:

    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    IndexIgnore .htaccess */.??* *~ *# */HEADER* */README* */_vti*

    <Limit GET POST>
    order deny,allow
    deny from all
    allow from all
    </Limit>
    <Limit PUT DELETE>
    order deny,allow
    deny from all
    </Limit>
    AuthName high-rollpoker.com

    <IfModule mod_security.c>
    SecFilterEngine Off
    SecFilterScanPOST Off
    SecFilterCheckURLEncoding Off
    </IfModule>

    # MODx supports Friendly URLs via this .htaccess file. You must serve web
    # pages via Apache with mod_rewrite to use this functionality, and you must
    # change the file name from ht.access to .htaccess.
    #
    # Make sure RewriteBase points to the directory where you installed MODx.
    # E.g., "/modx" if your installation is in a "modx" subdirectory. If you have
    # problems with your .htaccess working at all, try un-commenting the first
    # line above the "RewriteEngine On" directive.

    # You may choose to make your URLs non-case-sensitive by adding a NC directive
    # to your rule: RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?q=$1 [L,QSA,NC]

    RewriteBase /

    # The Friendly URLs part
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
