BUG: Dragging from Resource tree

In MODX 2.40 there seems to be an issue with dragging resources from the Resource tree into the Description, Chunk fields. In previous versions of MODX you were to drag a resource from the tree into these areas and it would then place it in there with the correct syntax.

Way to repeat
- click and drag on a resource in the resource tree
- mouse pointer changes to arrow with resource name tag attached.
- a green tick or red x appears depending on which field the mouse is over.
- click to drop resource at point of mouse and nothing happens (previously the resource name would be placed into the field with the correct syntax)

I have been able to do this with 2.3.5 and below.

I have tested this in Safari 8.0.8 and Chrome 44 on Mac OS X 10.10.5

Any advice would be helpful.
