Server time problem

Hello,
I have a problem with server time. In my server control panel server time is OK, but in Manager it shows 9 hours earlier time. What’s wrong?

Notice the offset time on your server, and set the same offset time for MODx.

Thank you for reply, but where do you see offset time on server? There is only time zone (which is correct). With correct server time settings Modx should display correct time in manager, shouldn’t it? But there is 9 hours difference.

Time zone is an offset (notice it says GMT +1). To set the server time you would use the ’Update server time’ option.

Also, make sure your server’s PHP configuration also has the appropriate time zone set. See http://us.php.net/manual/en/datetime.configuration.php#ini.date.timezone and/or http://us.php.net/manual/en/function.date-default-timezone-set.php for more details.

I see a lot of PHP 5 deployments without a default timezone set in the php.ini. Which is a result of them not having a default set in the php.ini (they expect you to set it properly when deploying PHP on a server).
