Hi there,
I am trying to utilize Quip for commenting on my blog. The extra is working, except that it is not sending emails.

1) I have included the email address in system settings and the MODX installation itself is indeed sending emails.
2) This https://forums.modx.com/?action=thread&thread=28438 checks out in quipthread.class.php

After a bunch of trial and error, I started getting the error below in the error log. I wasn't checking the log from the beginning, so I reinstalled Quip to make sure it wasn't something I had done.

Still getting the error message after reinstall and Internet searches seem to be fruitless.

Any ideas? :/

Are you sure that you put an email address in the quip.emailsTo setting?

Yeah, I am sure, unfortunately.

Unless there's a place to change it other than System Settings?

No, as far as I know that's where it is. I'm sorry, I don't have any better ideas than that you might have accidentally put it in the wrong setting. To be honest, I haven't used Quip for years, I like MODX Talks.
