MigX - Add a null/empty selection to resourcelist to use as default

Is it possible to add an empty/null selection to the MigX resourcelist inputTVtype without creating an actual resource?
The resourcelist is being used so the admin can add a link to an item but not all items need a link so a default of 'blank' would be great.

you could use a listbox-TV with @EVAL or @CHUNK - binding to generate the options

listbox insteed of resourcelist?
and fetch the resourcelist via select?
