Has ModX an Evil Twin ?

Hi,

After working with Drupal and WP, ModX seemed to offer "creative freedom".

But when I began to make more complex sites, I miss the availability of massive plugins like in WP.

Is there a CMS - system like ModX, that has a similar way of coding, but with more solid plugins ?

I really, really miss a good calendar plugin. Now there are only bètas and deprecated versions ...

Is mxCalendar no longer working in Revo? I've had good luck using it in the past.

sadly, it's no longer maintained and supported for ModX 2.3 and higher ... ;(

It seems to work fine on 2.3.x and 2.4.0

You'll need to download the latest package http://modx.com/extras/package/mxcalendar2 and install it locally. Use the "Upload a Package" option from the Download Extras button (the little arrow on the right).

I installed it from that link earlier.
On your linked page it displays for mxCalendar 1.1.10
"Compatible up to Revolution 2.2.x".
So maybe thats why its buggy on modx 2.3.5 ?

Kind regards

There's supposedly an official calendar extra that's been in the works for some time... any news on this anyone?
