Hello, I installed Slideshow Manager to use the scheduler to show and stop showing slides.
My test website was set for each slide to stop on 9th August 2015, but the slides are still showing?

Hmm, could have been the wrong format of the data using MM/DD/YYYY, instead of the universally correct YYYYMMDD format.
      ...testing.

Anyone know a slide manager that works and has a scheduler?

As posted a while ago allready, MIGX could do it

One Resource for each slideshow and a MIGX-TV with pub_date and unpub_date - fields

Then choose any of the javacript-slideshows out there.
              -------------------------------

you can buy me a beer, if you like MIGX

              Thanks!

              Ok, thanks.
Yes, I'll try the MIGX-TV thingy then.

I think the biggest problem is the existing Slideshow which I'm guessing needs to be removed, so this new MIGX-TV can work.

I tried commenting out the old Slideshow, but the php only loads a white page.
So, I'm nervous to delete the old Slideshow.
However, to figure out how to make the new MIGX-TV work, all I can think of is rebuilding the entire website as a test website and figure out how to delete the old slideshow and add the new MIGX-TV.

I guess I find it hard to navigate through the regular file system of a website and how to match up to the MODX CMS files.

I would start with a clean template.
Than put the javascript for your slide-shows to that template.
Add the needed html for your slideshows with some hardcoded images.

If that all works, start to convert the dynamic parts to MIGX.
