can`t add script tags to anything

HI.

i have a really strange issue where i cant add any script tags eg.

<script src="/mint/?js" type="text/javascript"></script>

into a template, chunk or snippet. When i do this it either will not save or load a page from the actual site inside the manager!! any ideas what is going on?

i literally just have to type the word script and it won`t save!

Possibly a really paranoid mod_security configuration.
