I'm trying to setup modex on one of my domains, all of the necessary files are in the correct places. Using version 2.3.5

On the connection Information page after entering all of my database information and testing, which returns.

    Connecting to database server: Success!

There is only a back button being displayed.. no next..finished or anything..just back?

Any information and help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Do you have a database created to use? Double-check that you put in all of the correct information for the database connection. The error handling for the setup database management isn't very good.

If you can, take a look at your server's error logs, the PHP log and the MySQL error log (I presume that you are using MySQL).

I was trying to connect to an empty database that was already created. Ended up dropping that db and creating a new one through the MODX connection information page, which has solved my issues.

        Thanks for the reply!
