Hi, I know the topic of Modx vs Wordpress has been discussed and I undertsand the difference between the two as have previously used both.
However, is there a way of integrating wordpress into Modx? This may be a crazee qtn but in my last comany we used AceFTP and were able to integrate wordpress into the site so that we had a regular site but with a wordpress news section..
Are the 2 compatible or should I be looking for a different blog provider? If so any recommendations on how I integrate a blog with my current Modx site?
Thanks and hope that makes sense!!

In my opinion,
this is not a good idea to use MODx AND Wordpress, If you need the power of MODx you can import your data from wordpress and make a MODx blog. I have already made some dedicated scripts for such includes for people which want a site with more fonctionnality, and this is the best solution for them, but I don’t know what do you exactly want to achieve.
Thank you for your quick response.
Basically, I am already using Modx for my website but I want to introduce a blog where I can add articles, information etc daily but didnt know how..
So does modx have its own blog software? If so that would be great!
