Hello,
Im using WOWSlider to make a slider so I can insert it into my page,I inserted it into my index.html file and when I previewed it looked pretty fine, the problem is that wont make my slider appear on my home-template.I pasted the code into my template and hit view and some problems came up.
My slider split into the 2 images the slider consisted of and it lost all of its functions(arrows, pause button ect.)
How do i fix this, what to do?

Do you have correct links to the WOWSlider .css and .js files in the template? Do you have a correct link to JQuery before the link to the WOWSlider .js files? And are the links to the images generated by WOWSlider correct, according to where the images are in your site?

By the way, I used WOWSlider a few times, and it proved to be more trouble than it was worth. There are dozens of very nice carousel and slider JQuery plugins that are easier to use. And if you are using a Bootstrap-based theme, it comes with a nice slider built-in.
Putting the css, js, and your link to the jQuery library in the proper locations should fix the issue.
AmazingSlider I highly recommend. Tons of options. Very customizable. Easy to install. Works great with pThumb. Alt tags gets picked up and used as a fade or slide in caption.
