Tags not working when Friendly urls on?

Hi,

modx 2.3.3
articles 1.7.11

I can't seem to get the [[+tags]] to correctly link when Friendly Url's are turned on. I am assuming this is a path issue but can't quite figure what to change.
One thing i have is 'use_alias_path' set to 'yes'...so do i need to create the tags link chunk to specify the path?
I have seen other users post similar issues but I've not been able to find any conclusive answers.
Can anyone shed any light?

Just an update on this. I still haven't found the cause for tags not working (taglister works on every other site i've made). One difference is that the blog page has '.php' as it's suffix:
www.myWebsite.com/myBlog.php/tags/myTag

Could the .php be the problem?

with friendly urls turned off i get:
