Revo 2.3.5 and PHP 5.6 issues...

Hi guys,

Just tested an upgrade of a Revo 2.2.1 site to 2.3.5 which is running PHP 5.6 and having major issues with the site... Should Revo 2.3.5 work on PHP 5.6?

I am getting theses errors in the server log:

PHP Fatal error:  Cannot redeclare elements_modsnippet_22() (previously declared in /srv/www.example.com/core/cache/includes/elements/modsnippet/22.include.cache.php:2) in /srv/www.example.com/core/cache/includes/elements/modsnippet/22.include.cache.php on line 2

I and several others have been using 5.6 for some time now and have never had a problem. In fact, the entire MODX Cloud just got switched, and as far as I know there haven't been any problems.

I have had a similar error intermittently with functions in a snippet that gets run more than once on a page.

What is the snippet with the ID 22?

Thanks guys. Bob - I can't tell you as all I get is blank white screens when attempting to view anything on the site now... Gonna redo setup... think the folder permissions might be the issue...

Actually - as this is a mirror of a live site, Snippet 22 is GetResources!

This is now sorted - the permissions on folders had been altered and therefore MODx had fallen over... GetResources was also not working with the new build - I upgraded the version installed and that also helped! [ed. note: dubbs last edited this post 11 years, 2 months ago.]
