Why should we need Adobe's flash in manager?

    Dear community,

    I was just wondering while starting the manager when Firefox asked me if I'd allow Adobe flash. Normally I disable flash with an addon and everything works just fine without it.
    My questions:

    1. Can I disable loading the flash content from whithin MODX without blocking flash in general (maybe patching manager/assets/FileAPI.js, which loads it)?
    2. Why is it needed anyway?
    3. Will it be replaced in future versions?

      It has something to do with the ExtJs, I believe. MODX itself doesn't use any Flash.
