For some reason the tree menu is taking forever to refresh (as in never) and there is a little yellow warning icon saying "working" in the right hand corner when I’m in the admin section of MODX
Doesn’t happen in MSIE only in Firefox. I’ve just upgraded to FF 3.01.
When I check my task manager I can see that Firefox has gone on one of it’s memory consuming binges. When this happens the only way put of it is to reboot FF.
This has been a long standing issue with Fire fox and they were supposed to have fixed it in version 3. Obviously not.
Anyone else having this problem?

Personally I have no performance issues neither Opera, Firefox or even IE.
Check out antivirus/firewall software, maybe it could be the reason or some hardware limitation.

What extensions do you have enabled? I always disable Firebug unless I’m actually debugging something. It can make quite a difference.

yes of course, I was using Firebug when this happened. (One of my favourite plugins.)
Anyway, the issue seems to have gone away for now, and I still have Firebug enabled.
I have about 25 extensions enabled which I use regularly and another 25 installed but disabled.
On top of that there are another 25 plugins as distinct from extensions.
