    Hi there,

    I’m using Ditto to list out some docs, but for some reason the [+summary+] is not coming out?
    All the child docs have content, and some of them have introtext set? The wiki tels me: "Either introtext in full if set, or the first part of content. "
    This is not happening?

    Ditto call:

    [[Ditto? &parents=`10` &tpl=`news_item` &summarize=`4` &showInMenuOnly=`1` &depth=`1` ]]

    Template:

    <div class="news_item">
    <h4>[+title+]</h4>
    <p>[+summary+]</p>

    <div align="right" class="newsclear"><a href="[~[+id+]~]"><img src="assets/templates/images/readmore.gif" alt="Click Here to Read More"></a>

    </div>
    </div>

    Thanks in advance!

      Assuming you are using the latest version of Ditto, I think you have to add &extenders=`summary` to the snippet call in order to make the [+summary+] placeholder work.

      I think that should work.

      PS I would also check to see if &summarize is a valid parameter, I think you want to use &display instead. But not sure.

        If you use [+introtext+] (same thing; this is the actual database field name for the "Summary" input field) you don’t need to use the extender.
