Answered MigxMultiLang NOT using default TVs for default language

Hello to you,

I'm trying to make this easy for client's to update they're content, so I ticked the «Hide default language from Translations - grid,» so client's don't have to go in both language to update the fields, they enter the content in the default fieds for default language, and in migxMultiLang TV for the other language.

The «Hide default language from Translations - grid,» works good, the default language is hidden from translation, but It does not use the default TVs for default language.

did I miss something some where?

do you have
```
[[+mml.pagetitle]]
```
or
```
[[+pagetitle]]
```
in your Template-chunk?

Or can you show a part of your template-chunk (not the whole thing), which does not work.

Hi Bruno,

here's a part that is not working:
```
	<title>[[+casino_longtitle]] - [[++site_name]]</title>
	<meta name="description" content="[[+casino_description]]">
```
I've replaced mml_longtitle by casino_longtitle (cause I have multiple site under the same modx, and not all have same language or more than one.

why can't you use the normal fields, like
```
[[+longtitle]]
```
I think, multiple contexts/different languages shouldn't matter.

is
```
[[+casino_longtitle]]
```
a template-variable, then?

Update tested with
```
[[+longtitle]]
```
when I use it and not
```
[[+casino_longtitle]]
```
I only get the default language/TVs input and the translation is not working anymore

Bruno,

I've found a workarround that's working.
I use filters like this
```
[[+casino_longtitle:default=`[[+longtitle]]`]]
```
I think this will do for now, by the way, I really like you addon, was missing to Revo. Easy and friendly way for multiLang site.

now I see, what you are doing.
ok, only fields with mml_ are translating the default resource-fields.

This is done here:

you can also have your own translatepdotoolsrow - snippet

should be faster, than output-filters.

Ha! now I understand too, we can't modify the mml_ for tv's.
