    Hi, HELP!

    I had some server issues today, which following a couple of reboots and manual clearing of the cache seemed to do the trick.......that was, until i tried to login. MODX Now says 'That account could not be located. Check the username and re-type the password to try again.' for every single user account that i had setup. Even the email addressses for 'Send activation Email' are not recognised.

    Does any one have any idea what on earth happened? It is an older version of MODX, that i haven't touched for a while, but was able to logon and make a number of changes sucessfully during the course of the morning. I am now not able to login at all and have no idea how to fix the issue.

    Anyone able to help at all - would REALLY REALLY appreciate it?
    Thanks

      You'll need to check the database. The modx_users and related tables may be corrupted.

        Hi Susan, Thanks for your response. I don't have phpMyAdmin, but logged in to the database to have a look. The modx_users table looks ok, and the users i would expect to be listed there are. There is however a problem with the modx_user_attributes table, which it says is marked as crashed and should be repaired......

        Any idea on how i do this? The website itself if currently working fine - i just can't log on to make any changes, so don't want to risk taking the site down?

        Any help/advice you could offer would be much appreciated?

        Many thanks
        Emily

          Just an update - i did a:
          repair table modx_user_attributes;
          and that did the trick - all working again as it should

          Reading up on it, this can happen if you run out of space on the server, which is exactly what happened.

          Thanks for your help.
