Image paths with word spaces now adding "%20" in manager where not before

Images paths are now having "%20" code added in place of spaces (since upgrading to latest Evo).

Client has been adding thousands of images over last few years - unfortunately a lot have word spaces in the folder / image names. It worked fine before but now in the manager if editing or adding the space gets replaced with the url friendly "%20" which means they no longer work.

I've pointed out that strictly speaking they shouldn't really used spaces, but I've seen this often. What would have caused it to change? I looked at the configuration tab to see if there were any obvious changes there.

I dont know if this will help but I've been seeing a lot of changes with my stuff from KCFinder. I'd check the TinyMCE settings or KCFinder to try to turn it off. I think theres a transliteration setting in config? [ed. note: redtoad last edited this post 8 years, 10 months ago.]
