ModxTalks email notifications

Simple question for anyone familiar with ModxTalks: How does ModxTalks determine where to send email notifications when new comments are awaiting moderation? Does it send an email to everyone in the user groups included as moderators? The system settings provide for the from and reply address, but this isn't the notification address. Can the notification address be set manually somewhere? Sorry, but this is completely unclear to me from the documentation.

Also, is it possible to have the notification emails show as from the commenter? Can that system setting hold a placeholder/tag of anykind?
