I've got this on two different sites. On one site, the output is assigned to the placeholder. On the other site it is just output directly.
[[!getResourceField?
&id=`[[+id]]`
&field=`filter-criteria`
&isTV=`1`
&processTV=`1`
&toPlaceholder=`filter-items`
&debug=`1`
]]
In both cases this is in a getResources tpl.
The placeholder names, the template variables, the calls are identical between the two sites. PHP 5.4.4, SQL same verisons. The modx error log is clear.
The only thing I see that is different between them is Modx 2.3.3 pl (working) and modx 2.3.3 pl sdk (not working on this site). I must have inadvertently installed the SDK version when I upgraded. Could this possibly affect this? I've been pulling my hair over this one.
Any suggestions?
I am not certain that the
getResourceField snippet has
toPlaceholder for parameter.
[[!getResourceField:toPlaceholder=`filter-items`?
&id=`[[+id]]`
&field=`filter-criteria`
&isTV=`1`
&processTV=`1`
&debug=`1`
]]

It is NOT listed as a parameter, however this IS working on one of the two sites.
Did you note the alteration in my code, did that do anything for you?

Ah! I did not notice. That works!
I didn't realize that was an output modifier or how it would be used with a snippet call. Excellent!
While this is great, I don't understand why my original code DOES work on my other site.
Glad it worked for you.
As for why your code behaved unexpectedly, who can search the mysterious and deep ways of MODx!?
