    Hi,

I’m having the same issues as reported here http://modxcms.com/bugs/task/1054?histring=zip&tasks=last and just wanted to ask if there are other ways to get the latest version of ModX?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Thank you! Unfortunately I cannot unzip that file either, so I’m pretty sure there must be an issue with FilZip, which is very strange since I unzip/unrar/unwhatever files all the time and never had any issues...
Anyway, I’ll search for another free unzipper and hopefully it’ll work then.

//edit: I managed to unzip it with 7-zip.

I downloaded YemuZip for my Mac. When creating an archive, it gives the option of creating a Windows-compatible archive. Since I began using this, I haven’t had any complaints about any archives I’ve provided.

Tarpit is my personal favorite for .tar / .tgz files for the same reason, including not forcing the creation of an enclosing folder when dropping multiple items onto it when creating archives..
